By using RoadDux, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully before using our platform.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using RoadDux, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use our services. We may modify these terms at any time, and your continued use constitutes acceptance of any changes.
Definitions
"Platform" refers to the RoadDux website and mobile applications. "User" means any person who accesses or uses the Platform. "Learner" means a User seeking driving instruction. "Instructor" means a User offering driving instruction services. "Booking" refers to a scheduled driving lesson arranged through the Platform.
Account Registration
You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You must be at least 17 years old to create an account. You may only have one active account.
Learner Terms
As a Learner, you agree to: provide accurate information about your driving experience and any accessibility needs, arrive on time for scheduled lessons, treat instructors with respect, comply with all road traffic laws during lessons, and provide honest feedback after lessons.
Instructor Terms
As an Instructor, you agree to: maintain valid ADI certification and insurance, provide accurate information in your profile, deliver professional instruction, maintain your vehicle in safe condition, comply with all applicable laws and regulations, and respond to booking requests promptly.
Bookings & Payments
Bookings are confirmed when payment is processed. Learners pay through the Platform; Instructors receive 90% of the booking amount after the lesson. Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Instructors are responsible for their own tax obligations. All prices are in GBP unless otherwise stated.
Cancellation Policy
Learners may cancel bookings up to 24 hours before the scheduled time for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours may incur a cancellation fee. Instructors who cancel repeatedly may have their accounts reviewed. No-shows without notice may result in account restrictions.
Conduct & Safety
Users must not engage in harassment, discrimination, or illegal activity. Instructors must report any safety concerns. Learners must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs during lessons. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these standards.
Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform, including logos, text, and software, is owned by RoadDux or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our content without permission. User-generated content (reviews, profile information) remains owned by users but is licensed to RoadDux for platform operations.
Limitation of Liability
RoadDux is a marketplace connecting Learners and Instructors. We are not responsible for the actions of Users or the quality of instruction. Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific booking in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless RoadDux and its officers, directors, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any rights of another party.
Account Termination
You may close your account at any time through your account settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violations of these terms, fraudulent activity, or extended inactivity. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.
Dispute Resolution
For disputes between Users, we encourage direct communication first. If unresolved, contact our support team who will mediate. For disputes with RoadDux, we will attempt to resolve through good-faith negotiation. Unresolved disputes shall be settled through binding arbitration in accordance with UK law.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any legal proceedings shall be brought in the courts of England and Wales. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or platform notification. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. If you disagree with changes, you must stop using the Platform and close your account.
